Brainerd Friends Meeting will hold weekly meetings for worship simultaneously in person and via Zoom. Please refer to our contact information (phone or email) if you would like to be connected to us on Zoom.
Meetings for Worship are held weekly in Brainerd MN. Our Meeting shares space with the Brainerd UCC church and uses the upstairs meeting rooms for worship; you can find us by heading upstairs and following the signs.
9 a.m. -- 10:30 a.m., Sunday Mornings

Meetings begin by gathering and quieting ourselves for worship. Each week a volunteer member brings a selected reading, most often from our book Quaker Faith and Practice (Religious Society of Friends [Quakers], Great Britain). The first 45 minutes of Meeting for Worship are spent in silent worship, followed by 45 minutes of group discussion that often uses the initial reading as a springboard.
On the first Sunday of each month, silent worship is followed by Meeting for Business, a time for our group to bring forth social and personal concerns, review and act on budget/giving agenda items, plan for social outreach and future gatherings, discuss youth education, and other topics.
Meetings for Worship followed by a potluck lunch are scheduled in members' homes and take place approximately every other month.
